Activities for young diabetes researchers and students

The activities bring early career researchers and students at LUDC together to discuss science and exchange ideas in an informal setting. LUDC ECN arranges four main activities a year.

In the spring, you can participate in the LUDC Diabetes Research Day and the LUDC ECN Methodology Day. In the fall, you are welcome to take part in the LUDC Early Career Network Day. 

LUDC ECN is always interested in extending the network. If you are interested in joining and would like to contribute to our activities, please contact Sabrina Ruhrmann or Leonie Mieke Engelhardt. 

Activities are announced in the LUDC newsletter and via the LUDC ECN email list. Email research administrator Ulrika Blom-Nilsson at ulrika [dot] blom-nilsson [at] med [dot] lu [dot] se if you would like to be on the emailing list for master's students, PhD students, and postdoctoral fellows and other young scientists  at LUDC. 

Our activities

LUDC Diabetes Research Day
This is a yearly event arranged at the beginning of the year by the LUDC Early Career Network. This event is open for everyone with an interest in diabetes research. Junior and senior diabetes researchers at LUDC, as well as doctoral students and external speakers, give lectures on current research.

LUDC Early Career Network Day
Join this day for talks by LUDC early career researchers, doctoral students, invited guests and an after-work event. This day takes place during the fall and is aimed at younger members of LUDC.

LUDC ECN Methodology Day
A half day seminar with talks focused on research methods. LUDC researchers and postdoctoral students at different stages of their careers are invited to share their experiences. This day is arranged during the spring.
