Workshop on publishing

Welcome to a workshop arranged by Lund University Diabetes Centre and the strategic research area EXODIAB dedicated to discussing publication of scientific projects.

This workshop will be led by Jennifer Sargent, who brings a wealth of experience as the former Deputy Editor at Nature Medicine and Senior Editor at Lancet. Jennifer is the founder of BabelFisk, a company that supports best practices and health policy development and implementation. Jennifer is currently working as a consultant for the World Health Organization (WHO).

Joining her is Hindrik Mulder, Professor at Lund University and Editor-in-Chief of Diabetologia.  We know Hindrik at LUDC for his great contribution to the centre and for his excellent research on insulin-secreting beta-cells and their role in diabetes.

We invite you to bring your questions about scientific writing, project planning, and publication strategies. We look forward to a pleasant and fruitful afternoon together, culminating in a networking session. 

This workshop is aimed at medical researchers. Early career researchers and PhD students will also benefit from the workshop. Researchers from other research areas are also welcome to join.

The workshop will end with some mingle.
