Current position

Postdoctoral fellow. I am involved in a project that aims at finding mechanisms behind chronic hypertension and brain dysfunction. In this project, we are not only studying the brain. We are investigating systemic effects of hypertension in mice exposed to long-term high-salt diet. In particular, I study kidney morphology and inflammatory factors, and alterations of dendritic processes and spines of cortical neurons.
