Ongoing work
I have worked in Prof. Marju Orho-Melanders group since 2011 as a research assistant and since 2013 as the dietary coordinator of Malmö Offspring study.
The 1st of August 2014 I was registered as a PhD student and am now working parallel with the PhD project and as a dietary coordinator.
My projects are about the genetics and environmental factors of dietary intake and their possible associations with appetite and appetite control. In this projects we use data from the extensive Malmö Diet and Cancer Study (MDCS) cohort with about 30 000 individuals to investigate these possible associations and interactions. The MDCS cohort has very detailed data collected about dietary and several other environmental factors.
Title of PhD project
"The role of genes and beverages consumption on appetite and metabolic health"
Research interests
Gene*diet interaction, diabetes, obesity, appetite regulation
